My story.

Due to my sheer love of blogging and keeping things sorted out, I’ve decided to start a blog to describe my life and this new journey we’re starting out on.

After a referral to a neurologist and some lab results came back – I’ve been thrust into this whole mess that is Lupus.

I’m an almost 25 year old  mommy to a 14 month old gorgeous, intelligent girl named Katelyn and I’m engaged to her fabulous daddy, Sam. We live in a smallish town in West Texas and though we don’t love it here, it was a good stepping stone and it’s become somewhat like home. I work for the State, more specifically Children’s Protective Services and due to confidentiality and all that lovely stuff I probably will rarely speak about my job here.

I’ll be using this blog to keep up with symptoms, doctor’s appointments, tests and occasionally a look into my life day to day.

I’ve been on this journey for about a year now (well.. the lupus part at least) and know how it is to be thrust into the whole mess! :( I’m sorry you are having to go through this. ((hugs)) Good luck with your journey, I’m thinking of you!

    • Thank you. Will hopefully have time to update this with more info soon. Between a full time job and a very quick kiddo I don’t have much time for blogging :)
