The problem with Mondays..

Weekends used to be for going out, staying up late, and sleeping in. Now weekends are for laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning. They are also for lots of uninterrupted snuggle and playtime with my girl – so they aren’t a total loss.

The problem with Mondays however, is that I come home from work in a daze. Typically exhausted. And not too much to keep me from a nap with Katelyn. The laundry is done, the house is clean. And it’s more or less quiet – if having a very vocal baby standing at the door saying “Daddy” loudly counts as quiet.

We’re waiting on a special delivery. Sam got my birthday present a bit early and it is scheduled to be here today. A new camera! I am beyond excited and cannot wait to tear into it and take some Halloween pictures of Katelyn.

This week is shaping up to be a busy one. Work is more stressful than normal as it’s the last week of the month. In addition to that we have the Halloween Carnival tomorrow night, painting posters for Fall Festival at Mother’s Day Out Wednesday night and then actually going to the Fall Festival Thursday. I love this time of year though. Growing up, Halloween was one of my favorite holidays.

It’s also been cold and rainy today – and though it makes me ache all over I still managed to enjoy it.

Waiting to hear back on my Antiphospholipid panel, Lupus anticoagulant panel and 24 hour protein test. The Rheumatologist probably isn’t planning on disclosing any results until my next appointment on 11.19 so I may have to call them at the end of the week and ask if they are in.

Not sure I really want an official diagnosis – but it would be better than the maybe, maybe not grey area I’m in right now.
